These products were a lovely Christmas Present from my nan. I have been bleaching my hair blonde for about 4 years now, and I am feeling the effects! My hair has definitely suffered through the years and has become dry, brittle and an odd collection of blondey colours. So when I read about James Browns colour enhancing hair products I couldn't wait to try them! Designed to inject some moisture to colour treated hair, they smell amazingly good and the formula feels thick and nourishing. I was a little worried the thickness of the formula would mean my hair would be left feeling greasy and full of product, which I hate, but in fact it didn't! My hair does feel soft and full, though I haven't noticed much of a change in terms of how my colour looks, though this may be down to the years of abuse it has been subjected to!
I am feeling the need for a hair change. Since becoming pregnant I haven't bleached my hair as I read about how the chemicals can effect the baby (though to be honest, I haven't really felt like sitting in a hairdressers chair for 2 hours either!). I am thinking about going back to my natural colour, which is a dark blond/light brown, after the baby is born. It would be nice to be able to go to the hairdressers for a simple, cheaper, cut and blow-dry as opposed to forking out over £100 on highlights and what-not!
xx
That's really good that you haven't coloured your hair since you've been pregnant, really responsible decision. :) I think you should go back to your natural colour and give your hair a break! x
