Red Floral Skirts

Vest Top: Topshop Maternity
Skirt: River Island (old)
Cardigan: Topshop (old)
Tights: M&S

I love this skirt still, even though it's about a million years old! That's the good thing about investing in a good item of clothing that you actually love, instead of mindlessly following trends. I always try and buy things that I actually like and think suit me, rather than just because they are in fashion, which can be a bit tricky, especially when you want to keep up with the fashionistas of the world! But as I've realised that clothes that suit you and you will actually wear more than once can be manipulated and paired with new accessories to look more on trend!

In case anyone out there in the World didn't know, today is my DUE DAY!!! I know what you're all thinking. Where's the baby? Well yes, I am thinking this too. Baby has decided to have a nap and stay in my tummy until she can be bothered to come out. I have tried the hot curry, the walking up and down stairs, the pineapple chunks. But to be honest, I'm not sure I actually believe any of that stuff will shift this little girl. And I'm starting the like the sound of a March baby, so maybe I'll allow her to hold out for another week or so. Not too keen on the idea of being induced though... but hopefully that wont have to happen!

xx

  1. How on earth can you still fit into your old clothes?! I couldn't wear any of my skirts from about 5 months, and I had a relatively small bump!
Ohh, I can't imagine what you're feeling at the moment - I never had a chance to do any of those things because my wee rascal (and indeed, he is a rascal - has had mummy up all night!!) came 3 days early!!
If you don't get a chance to post again pre-labour, best of luck! Hope you get the water birth that you want! Xo

  2. You look so small for being due...but I'm sure you hear that quite a bit. This skirt looks so charming on you. I love the color.
