Pink top, floral scarf!

Top: Miss Selfridge (old)
Cardigan: River Island
Skirt: H&M
Scarf: Accessorize

This is an old outfit I found on my computer that I didn't get round to blogging! I think it was on a day when the sun had come out and I was over excited about the prospect of warmer weather! I love the scarf so much! It's so colourful and you can instantly transform any old outfit into a sunny, fun and far more interesting look. Loving my little bump too. I knew I would miss it once it was gone! (Not that it's completely gone now, but it's not quite as fun without a baby inside!)

Thanks so much for all of the kind messages on my last post! I was hoping my 40 week bump update would be a baby update, and I guess I got my wish! It has made me feel very silly about my constant researching of natural ways to induce labour... in the end it just happened when baby was ready to come out, so I needn't have worried so much. In fact, when I got home from the hospital and put my computer on, there was a website up about the effect pineapple can have on inducing labour, and I realised how obsessed I had been!

I was right! I have a baby who likes to be up all night and asleep all day. I think my blogging will be a little sporadic for the next few weeks as I attempt to do as all the books suggest and "sleep when baby sleeps"! Bit of a milestone this morning as babies belly button thingy fell off! Yay! She's a real baby now! Haha! I am glad though, I was very scared of twisting it when I changed a nappy, but now it's all gone!

They grow up so fast!
xx

  1. The belly button thing creeped me the hell out!! Glad all is well, as for the sleeping thing, Aiden is only just falling into a routine (kind of - he has reflux and we ran out of gaviscon during the weekend so it unsettled him a bit). Xo
