Alice's Routine at 6 months!

Saturday, August 25, 2012

I can't believe she is actually 6 months old now! Wow!
I started weaning Alice at 4 and a half months old and have steadily been increasing the amount of food she has each day. So this is Alice's routine as it stands!

6am: Wake up and play in cot

6.30-6.45: Nappy change and 6oz of milk. Then put on mat to play while I have breakfast.

7.30: Porridge and a little bit of fruit.

8.15: Sleep time again!

9.30: Wake up. Nappy change. Play time.

10am: I get Alice washed and dressed and ready for the day!

10.40: A little bit of fruit to keep her happy till lunch

11.00- 11.30: Lunch. Half a jar of veg or chicken and veg and half a jar of fruit or a rusk in milk.

12.00- Nap time!

12.45: Wake up and drink 5-6oz of milk

1.30: We go out and about for a walk.

2.30: Sometimes Alice needs another little nap, sometimes she is ok. If she is ok, I let her sit in her chair and watch Peppa Pig.

3.00: Yoghurt time! Offer water from a beaker. Then it's play time.

4.00: If Alice didn't nap at 2, then she definitely needs to now!

5.00: Diner. Half a jar of savoury, half a jar of sweet or a rusk in milk.

5.45: Run bath and let Alice kick on her mat for a bit.

6.00-6.10: Bath!

6.30: After she is dressed and wrapped up in her sleeping bag I give her 5oz of milk.

7.00: Bed time!

Alice now sleeps right through and doesn't need a night feed anymore! Sometimes she wakes up early, like at 5am. if she dies this and won't go back to sleep, I always assume she needs food and give it to her, even if it throws her a little off routine. At the end of the day, she knows what she needs more than I do!

xx
