How cool is this dress from Topshop?! I had to have it the second I saw it on the rail. I mean, Blue- check, Collar- check, Squirrels- check. What more does a dress need! It has a lovely drop waist too which is so flattering, especially when you have a bit of a tummy (the joys of having an 8lbs 12oz baby floating in there!). I'm wearing tights because once again, our lovely British summer has disappeared and the rain has taken it's place. Joy.

Alice has been teething so badly, and it's really starting to upset me now! I gave her some calpol last night and she slept pretty well. She woke up at about 10 to 6 crying and crying and it took me a little while to settle her enough to feed her. She's happy now, playing with her daddy while mummy drinks a cup of tea (Most needed cup of tea of my life!)

You may have noticed some adverts appearing on my blog. I recently joined Glam Media, which is apparently a really good advertising agency for bloggers. I'm just not sure how to step up this blog to the next level? So it made sense to join a company that deal with that sort of thing... I was thinking about writing an e-book about Alice and I. I feel like there are so many books out there on pregnancy and babies which just tell you what to do and what not to. But I didn't want to read that! I wanted to read something from a real mum, someone who had been through it and come out the other end alive! I didn't want to be told what to do, I wanted to hear someone elses story, find out what it is really like when a baby wont follow a routine no matter what you do, or how it really feels to be up all night long, or what it's like to see your baby smile for the first time! So I may give it a go and see how far I get! What do you think?
