Dear Alice,
Your teeth are becoming the biggest nightmare of my life! Last night I spent the best part of 2 hours trying to settle you to sleep only to have you wake up every 2 hours all night long! Argh! They are definitely not joking when they say motherhood is not easy. It can be so so so hard and stressful, and worrying and exhausting.
However, YOU ARE SITTING UP BY YOURSELF! I am so proud of you. You are the strongest little thing and love sitting up in the garden and watching the squirrels with mummy. Ok... you can't actually do anything while your sitting because you slip sideways, but we are getting closer to the high chair now! You are desperate to crawl too and are already pulling and shuffling yourself around the room. Mummy is trying to enjoy these last few weeks when you are not properly mobile! Haha!
I gave you choccy pudding the other day and... you hated it! Seriously! I was expecting you to gobble it up in seconds but you really hated it. You surprise me every day with your food choices. I cant believe you preferred vegetable risotto to chocolate?! You are eating more now too and have replaced your lunch milk feed with actual lunch! 3 bottles a day means much less sterilising and powder scoop counting for me! Woohoo!
I can't believe how much you are growing each day. You make me laugh, cry, stress, smile and collapse from exhaustion every day of my life. But I wouldn't have it any other way! (Although feel free to sleep in till 10am tomorrow. I wont mind. Honest!)
xx

I remember tedious nights. My daughter Scarlett did not sleep through the night until she was about 8 month old. It's def hard to be a parent but it's the best thing in the world at the same time. She is beautiful. Thanks for coming by Laurenrebecca.com. I am now following you :)
ReplyDeleteNot liking choccy? Babies have some odd tastes! Haha. Enjoy her shuffling while you can - it's the calm before the storm! Aiden gets into everything and anything now - chasing him is exhausting! Haha xo
ReplyDeleteAaaaw your daughter is so cute! Our eight month babyboy also makes the funniest faces when he is tasting a new fruit or vegetable.. Great blog you have! x
ReplyDeletesuch a cute blog! I'm excited to keep looking through it, glad you left a comment over on my blog with your link!

Aww this is such a lovely letter! It's amazing how she's growing each day! Sorry to hear she's teething so much, I hope it gets better soon. Wow I can't believe she turned down chocolate mousse! That's good though, she's not gonna be one of those fussy kids who doesn't eat any veg or fruit! XxxX http://thesecondhandrose.blogspot.co.uk
