Dear Alice- Week 33

Dear Alice,

This week you started crawling! I am still so excited about it! i love seeing you scuttle across the floor at lightening speed and seeing your little face light up when you do so! You are really into everything now too. Everything is so interesting and fun to you. Especially the bathroom. If I leave that door open even a tiny bit you are through there immediately, grabbing the towels and staring at the toilet in awe.

We have started taking you out lots and lots now. You are so alert and interested in other people, noises and places so now the real fun starts! We took you on the tube the other day which was so much fun. We went to the natural history museum to see the dinosaurs and to the river in Richmond. Next week we are taking you Pumpkin Picking so you can celebrate your first halloween!

Sleeping is like... a MILLION times better too! You are literally sleeping from 6 till 6 which is incredible. However, the clocks are due to go back soon, which is going to cause a lot of disruption. (If anyone has any tips about that, I'm all ears!) You are growing up so fast i can barely keep up with you! And I already miss your new born days when you would sleep on me for hours. My advice to any new mums/ mums-to-be out there is to really really enjoy those first few weeks. No matter how tired you are, just try to enjoy your little newborn. Because it goes quicker than you could ever predict!
