Pinafores

First outfit post in... months! I definitely want to start documenting my personal style journey again as it has already changed so much! Especially as I have begun to morph into my role as a mother. I love fashion, but I'm also really aware that I am a mother now, so getting the balance right is very important to me!

I have always been a big believer that what you wear can reflect on how you feel about yourself. I say "you", but I guess I can't speak for everyone in the world! It definitely applies to me though. Although pyjama days are lovely when you aren't feeling too good, or it's cold out and you want to snuggle up under a blanket and watch Disney movies all day, but every day and I begin to feel... rubbish! There are some days where I look in the mirror and thing "Yuk yuk yuk!" I hate my hair, I hate my clothes, I hate my skin and I feel crap. And when you are a stay at home mum, alone in the house all day, feeling like that is not good! It stops me form showing my face in the world and I end up staying indoors all day long wishing I felt better about myself. So I do try and work on my appearance. I make sure I wash my hair and have nice clothes to put on (and actually bother to put them on!) and I GET OUTSIDE!

Seriously, the snow has really made me realise how important it is to get out and about every day! Just that little bit of fresh air can make you feel 100 times better about... everything. And I will NOT be using greasy hair or a few spots stop me from going out anymore!
