In a Brunch Rut

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

I am in a rut as to what to make for out weekend brunch's! I seem to have run out of my already very limited creativity. I am not the best cook in the world by far and need some simple, refreshing ideas for a light brunch before lunch (sometimes after...). Once again I am turning to pinterest for some inspiration, and whereas the food looks so yummy, I am not sure I would actually have the time/money to recreate a lot of it!

I think I am going to set myself the challenge to come up with a new, interesting dish every weekend that is quick and easy to make!

xx

  2. We always used to cook the same food too, so we came up with the idea that we would each cook something new at the weekend. It means we get to eat lots of good new food, and also use all of our recipe books (instead of just having them there on the shelf!)

    1. that's exactly what we are trying to do. but we have limited funds and I don't always have the right cooking equipment for the recipes. And we don't have much time so I only want to spend about 20 minutes making something! xx

  3. How about making your own sushi rolls? This is something ive yet to try but its very healthy and you could make simple ones for your little girl :) x

  4. One of my favourite brunches is bacon and egg muffins. Lightly fry some bacon, then use it to line little muffin pans (you may have to cut it and play tetris) once lined crack an egg into each muffin pan, top with cheese and herbs and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
