Here are just a few photographs from our wedding on Saturday, taken by the incredibly talented Alexa Loy. Alexa was so lovely on the day and made all of us feel so relaxed and happy. Her photographs are incredible and I really couldn't recommend her enough!
I actually do not know if I can put into words what an incredible day it was, not just for us but for everyone who was a part of it! Our wedding was on a budget, it was a home wedding and we had a little toddler to look after who only wanted mummy! So I have a few tips and tricks to share if you are also on a budget or have a toddler to chase as well. I will do some posts sharing these tips and what I learned along the way.
And to answer the question that everybody wants to know: yes I do feel different now I am married. I didn't think I would! When I had Alice everyone would ask, "how do you feel now you're a mum?" and the truth was, not that different. But marriage?! It is hard to explain exactly how I feel now. It's like... everything in my life is the same but at the same time, everything has changed. As if a filter has been put over my eyes and I am seeing the World through a new lens. Maybe it's just that the buzz of the day hasn't quite worn off yet, or maybe this is really what it feels like! I just know that my wedding day was one of the happiest days of my life and if I had known just how much it would mean to both of us, we would have done it much sooner!
I want to go back in time and do it all again!!
