The UK is home to some fantastic
holiday destinations that have been loved by families for generations; but with
all the mod cons and fast pace of modern life, how can these traditional
holiday resorts keep up with a 21st century family? Let’s take a
look at three of Britain’s favourite holiday locations and how they are most
definitely not stuck in the past!

Stay cool in Devon
Devon may be the epitome of all
things English with its cream teas, rolling hills and seaside retreats, but did
you also know that it’s one of the coolest surfing hotspots in the UK? Not just
a quaint family destination, Devon attracts some of the coolest and most
talented surfers from across the UK and they flock to its shores each summer to
ride the waves.
Devon holiday parks are located right at the heart of the action and Devon Cliffs is just a short drive away from Bantham Beach – one of the best all-round surfing beaches in the country. If seeing some of the country’s top surfboarders inspires your kids, pick up a few boogie boards and head down to this beach. It has some of the best surf in Devon but plenty of shallower areas at low tide that are perfect for young and old boogie boarders alike.
Blackpool
Think of Blackpool as a fading
holiday resort? Think again! There’s more going on in Blackpool now than
there’s ever been and when you stay at CalaGran Blackpool you’ve got it all on your
doorstep. From the speed and sounds of the Blackpool Air Show to the adrenaline
rush of riding Europe’s tallest rollercoaster – the Pepsi Max Big One – you’ll
need a holiday to recover from your holiday after coming to Blackpool!
If this isn’t convincing enough,
check out the reviews on TripAdvisor yourself. With rides for kids of all ages
and something for young and old alike, you’ll soon see that this place is far
from past it.
If it’s not broken, don’t fix it;
that’s the motto for holidays in Norfolk. Nothing beats a traditional British
seaside holiday and nowhere does it better than the home of Great Yarmouth –
the original Great British Beach Holiday.
I'm from Blackpool haha! It used to be a fantastic place to go for a break but its very scruffy now :( it's a real shame as it was a lovely family holiday destination once. They need to seriously spend some money doing it up, cleaning the streets of drugs and getting rid of some of the stags and hens to attracts families back
ReplyDeleteHello ..
ReplyDeleteI am very interested in staying at your place and was curious to know about the rent. It will be a great help to me if you share some pictures of the house. I have to stay for three months.
