We have our official photos through from Alexa Loy!!!
In the hope not to completely bombard the blog with pictures from my wedding (like I haven't done that already!) I have split them into 3 sections. This is part 1 and it is probably my favourite part of the day. The bit where we got married.
We chose to get married in our local registry office, which is an old converted manor house. It used to be all run down and covered in graffiti and I remember thinking how beautiful it could be if someone only gave it some love when I was younger. Well... they did! And I think they did a great job.
I arrived in a white taxi, where there was plenty of room for my dress to squeeze into! Dave was waiting nervously in the room upstairs, as well as occupying little Alice who just wanted to run around screaming! I will always remember the moment where I stepped out the car and thought... these shoes are going to HURT later on! Haha! And they really did.
I was so nervous walking down the aisle. Alice started crying so we held her at the front with us, which actually made it very special for us. I mean, she is our family! The confetti was a massive highlight, I just loved it and we actually did it a few times so Alexa could get a good enough photo (it was a MAJOR must have photo for me!). Looking back, it all went by so quickly and I wish I could live it all again.
More to come in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned!

xx
