Pre-Christmas Dinner

Tuesday, December 24, 2013

Seeing as we are spending Christmas and Boxing day AND New Years with different friends and family, we decided it would be a really nice idea to have a "Pre- Christmas" dinner as just the three of us! It sounds so silly, but ever since I was little, I have always had a vision of sharing Christmas dinner with my family, my husband and my children. And of course, now I have a husband and a child, we can!

Alice is definitely at the age where she can enjoy things like this a lot more. I mean, she doesn't completely understand the concept of Christmas or have any idea of the excitement to come on Wednesday, but she's always so excited and everything is always so new and amazing to her! It really makes me appreciate these times more when I see her experiencing them for the first time.

I have been thinking a lot about this blog and what it means to me to be blogging recently. And after some careful thought, I have decided to take more of a personal and quiet direction with it. This blog is proving to be the most amazing and incredible visual diary which we enjoy looking back on so much, that I feel so uncomfortable with the odd sponsored post in-between. So as from January 1st 2014, I will no longer be accepting any sponsored posts. I will also be calming down on the promotion side of it. I'm ignoring the stats and shall only share my post on twitter and sometimes facebook.

I am hoping that by making a few subtle but important changes to the blog, I will be able to continue to document my family's life in a way which we (and hopefully my children) will feel comfortable looking back on over the years.

And to all who have followed, commented or just enjoy reading our journey, thank you so much! And you are most welcome to stay and follow with us. I have no idea where this journey will take us, but I have a feeling 2014 is going to be one busy year ;)

MERRY CHRISTMAS xx
