The Tree

Decorating the tree has to be one of my favourite Christmas activity. There is nothing like the smell of a real Christmas tree filling your house or getting out those knotted up twinkling lights to put you in the Christmas mood! This year, we had our tree delivered to us by Creekside Christmas. They offer a range of Christmas trees in small, medium or large sizes and deliver to London addresses. I can not say how nice it was to have the friendly delivery man arrive on December the 1st with our beautiful tree and stand. It meant we could stay warm and cosy inside and undo our knotted lights, which took forever (why do we just throw them back in the box every year?!).

Creekside Christmas also have a fantastic Christmas tree care guide which I have found really helpful when looking after our tree. No one wants a wilting tree on Christmas morning! And don't forget to enter EMMA at the checkout for a nice discount! Merry Christmas!

I thought I would also include my top 3 tips for Christmas tree decorating:

1. Always let your toddler pick out the colours. It will be far prettier than anything you could do yourself... and colourful.

2. Always have Christmas songs on in the background to get everybody in the festive mood. And watch your toddler dance and scream along to Noddy Holder yelling, "It's Christmasssss!"

3. Always put on far too many baubles on the tree. Your toddler will definitely sneak a few hundred off and hide them when you're not looking.
