On Saturday it was Alice's birthday. I can not believe my little girl is 2 years old. It only feels like yesterday that she was a little newborn baby looking around at us all with those big beautiful eyes of hers. So much has changed in two years that it's nice to take a day to just look back and remember all the little moments and how far you have come. My little girl can walk, jump, run, tantrum, speak (kind of...), play and is about to become a big sister. Where did the time go...?
We only got Alice a few things for her birthday. It was quite hard to know what to buy her just after Christmas to be honest. We settled for a dressing up nurse outfit, a blow up Peppa Pig chair, some stickle bricks and a fire engine! The dressing up outfit was a huge hit and we plan on collecting a few more throughout the year.
We went to the farm for her birthday. Unfortunately Alice woke up on Saturday morning with a horrid cold and was a little unsettled for the morning so we spent the morning playing with her new toys and the afternoon making friends with the animals!

She's just obsessed with fire engines at the moment, ever since we saw one up close shopping a few weeks ago. Nee naw nee naw!
Special birthday lunch went down a treat!
Making friends. She was waving like crazy at this sheep saying, "heyo! Heyo! Hi!" Haha!
Gosh it was muddy thanks to all that rain we've had!
Can't believe how big I am already... Eek!
As Dave's birthday was the day before and we didn't have a cake for him, I put two candles in Alice's cake. A for Alice and D for Dave (or daddy I suppose...)!
Safe to say, she liked the cake. Yum! Get in there Alice!
Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Alice :)
