Oops. Sorry I didn't do one of these last week. Or the week before. Alice had that awful 24 hour bug, which took her over a week to fully recover from and let me tell you... looking after a sick toddler when you are pregnant is hard blooming work. Not only that, but I was an emotional wreck for most of it as thanks to these hormones (though I usually get a bit upset when Alice is ill... can't help it!).
When she finally got over the horrid bug, I suddenly realised that my bump has GROWN over the past 2 weeks. I feel huge! And I can feel little baby kicking away most of the time too, which is both a lovely and slightly weird experience... not sure I'll ever really get used to the feel of a little person kicking inside me. But it's nice to know baby is happy and healthy.
In the first week of April we have the 20 week scan to look forward to! We already know the gender of the baby, but I think I would rather wait a little to reveal it. You know... because I can! haha! Other than that, all is pretty well. I LOVE the second trimester of pregnancy. When your bump is starting to show, you still have some energy left and the morning sickness has gone. It's the time you can really enjoy being pregnant and look forward to meeting your new addition to the family without thinking too hard about the amount of sleepless nights you are about to encounter. Again!
Only 4 and a half months to go! Wahoo!
