This weekend we took a trip with Alice. I have seriously missed our weekends out. Being ready to pop makes it very difficult to go anywhere without either getting absolutely exhausted, needing to stop to pee or getting worried about being too far away from the hospital! So we spent Sunday afternoon at the local urban farm, which is just round the corner.
Alice loved it, she didn't want to leave! I suppose we have spent far too long indoors or in the back garden recently. I can't help but feel guilty about that. I hate that I can't get on the floor and play with Alice the way I used to. Or how I have to tell her to be careful when she lays on me in the mornings. Or how I can't make her fish fingers without feeling sick and have to hide in the bathroom while she eats dinner... I love being pregnant, but I hate how restricting it can make life. I'm fairly sure Alice can't wait to see me with a normal sized belly again!
Here are some more photos from our day, including a shot of me at 38 weeks pregnant! I have been avoiding the camera recently because I feel like a whale! But I think the photo came out quite nicely. Good lighting I say!
