I've been meaning to post this for a little while now! It's my super easy carrot cake to cook with toddlers! I found the recipe HERE. But I replaced the oil with a little golden syrup and it was amazing!
It's the sort of cake that is just so fun to cook with a toddler as it's literally a case of throwing it all in a bowl, mixing it together and bunging it in the oven. Though I think Alice's favourite bit was eating it!! It's also really quick to make so is perfect if you have a little baby (ticking time bomb) to contend with too.
I am looking for more fun, healthy meals and snacks to make with Alice. We are going through a bit of a fussy eating stage, but I think that if she was involved with the making she might eat a little more!
xx

Yum. I am not normally a carrot cake person, but that does look rather tasty. x
ReplyDeleteI love carrot cake but don't make it very often because of the amount of oil. I might have to give your little trick a try #tastytuesdays
