I don't know what made me pick up the camera for this moment really... I just saw them there, on the buggy. Ready to walk to nursery. And I couldn't let this moment slip away forever. I had to capture it, so I grabbed my camera and snapped away! And I'm so glad I did. Because not only does it make a pretty sweet Ordinary Moment post, it means that no matter how quickly she grows up, I can always look back on this time! On this moment. Of Alice on the buggy board, her hair neatly brushed and clipped back, her flowery winter coat on, waiting to walk to nursery.
I have to admit though, Thomas is really starting to fight the buggy! It's a 20 minute walk to nursery, and that's 20 minutes too long for this boy. He screamed the whole way home yesterday, and not even a chocolate biscuit would calm him down! But he was happy before we left, and so I'm just going to remember that bit I think! Hehe!
Beautiful Photos, Your little lady looks so happy. My little lady hates her buggy sometimes too, so much so I end up carrying her in her wrap on the school run... but when my toddler decides against walking and I put her on my shoulders I do look a bit crazy carrying 2 children!
ReplyDeleteOh no, really! I couldn't cope without the buggy and buggy board. It's a 20 minute walk to the nursery so it would be a nightmare if I had to walk all that way with them both! x
DeleteAh Alice is so gorgeous and looking so grown up. I have always chuckled at your nursery run on your vlogs, 20 minutes is definitely a long time when you have a child who is fighting the buggy. Hope he stays put for a while longer, otherwise that nursery run could triple in time. ;) x
ReplyDeleteOh me too! And no, lets not joke about hour long journeys to nursery every day... Now that would not be fun! xx
DeleteGreat picture - we my harri is two and will not go in the buggy at all, I don't mind but it does make the school run twice as long especially as she always wants to take her dolls buggy!!! X
ReplyDeleteHaha! Alice went through that stage when she was about 2 as well. I'm hoping Thomas stays put a little longer! x
DeleteAlice is beautiful! Bet her hair wasnt that neat after nursery though! ;) xx
ReplyDeleteHaha! Nope! Every single day i do her hair beautifully, with plaits and clips. And every day she comes out with it flying everywhere. I don't know what she does in the day! Haha! xx
DeleteWhat pretty pictures. I remember that stage of resisting the pushchair, very difficult but needs must! I adore Alice's coat, do they do adult sizes?!
ReplyDeleteOh poor you. I also have a little one that resists the school run, I have a 15 min drive and she hates the car seat - especially on the way back when her big sister isn't there to entertain her! X
