The Ordinary Moments #4 - Cold Walks in the park

Sunday, January 24, 2016

I've always considered myself an outdoors kind of person. Don't get me wrong, I love long lazy weekends inside, especially when it's cold or raining, but I always feel so much more productive if we get outside for a bit. Even if it's just a walk in our local park. I think being cooped up in the house makes us all go a little crazy sometimes, and it can get me a little down too.

It was freezing at the park, I'm not gonna lie! Thomas's nose went bright red, as did his little fingers (any tips for getting gloves on a 1 year old?!) and Alice was stone cold by the time we got back to the car! We were only there for about an hour and then we went home, back to the warm, and snuggled up in front of the tv with a cup of hot chocolate and some cookies we'd make that morning.

I don't know about you but that's kind of my perfect day! Here's some more I snapped from the day:

  1. I love them all dressed up in their snuggly clothes. Sometimes you can't beat a good old winter walk in the park. You take such beautiful photos. Sorry I have only just got round to reading this, I don't know if you linked it up so I didn't see it until I went on Bloglovin!x
