New research from The Baby Show has revealed that parents are secretly struggling with the challenges they take on in their new role as mum or dad. In a study of 1,176 parents, 30% said they found parenthood challenging, while 38% said they found it very challenging. Just 14% said it was easy.

One in five (21%) parents said they had lied to their friends and family about coping well with parenthood to save face.
The research was undertaken by The Baby Show, the UK’s leading pregnancy and parenting event which is set to return to the ExCeL, London from 19th to 21st February.
