Valentines Day: Heart Shaped Chocolate Brownies

Thursday, February 04, 2016

To make these heart shaped chocolate brownies you will need:

175g Chocolate (milk, dark, plain... whichever you prefer!)
175g butter
250g Caster Sugar
40g Cocoa Powder
75g Plain Flour
2 Eggs
Baking paper

Melt the chocolate with the butter in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water.
Crack 2 eggs in a bowl and mix with the sugar
Add the chocolate to the mixture

Add the cocoa powder and flour to the gooey mixture and fold in. (You could also add chocolate chips at this point!)

Line a baking tray with baking paper and pour in the mixture. Bake in an oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.

When it's done, the top will be slightly crusty, but it will still wobble a little and feel gooey in the middle.

Wait for it to completely cool and then cut out with your heart shape cutter. Or just free hand it.

Make sure you wait for it to be completely cool or it not cut right and you'll end up with a big chocolaty mess!

Add sprinkles, or mashmallows, or icing, or more chocolate chips. And EAT!

Here's a little video too:

  1. These look delicious. I can not wait to try them ♥

  2. I'm about to make these for pudding and I'm pretty excited about it! X
