It is literally my favourite summer time activity. Not only is it super cheap, the kids just love it! There's something so summery about picking fresh strawberries and eating them on the way home. Or making fresh jam and cakes. We were super early to the fields this year, because the crop was only just ready to pick. I'm planning on making some homemade strawberry jam (video coming soon!).
I love how Thomas's t-shirt just got messier and messier in the pictures as he sneakily munched on more strawberries! I kept finding half eaten ones where he'd been and had to quickly hide them in the plants. Oops! It was also so incredibly hot and stuffy in these big greenhouses, but luckily I have some super quick strawberry pickers so we weren't in there for too long.
