When Alice gets home from nursery, and Thomas wakes up from his nap, it's pretty magic. They act as if they haven't seen each other in years, when in fact it's only been a few hours! Thomas really misses Alice when she's at nursery now. He stands at the window looking for her and picks up her toys calling "Ali? Ali?" It's kind of heartbreaking and lovely at the same time. They've really bonded over the last few months and become so close. I think it has a lot to do with moving house. So much had to change but they had each other and I guess they have both learned to lean and rely on each other to always be there, no matter what else around them changes.
I took these snaps the other week, when Alice had just gotten home and I let them loose in the garden. The garden that I still can not believe is ours!!
Lovely pictures. My two miss each other when Alice is at preschool, its very cute. I don't know how Holly will cope when Alice starts school in September. I love the sibling relationship x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos and it must be so lovely having a garden now. My girls are the same, they literally embrace after school and nursery like they haven't seen each other in years! xx
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful, ours is a stony mess that gets covered in leaves from the oak trees behind it! Our little girl doesn't have a sibling but she misses the dog so much when she's away from her - in fact on Saturday our friend took Lexi out for a walk and J bawled her eyes out that her best friend was going away! x
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet! These are gorgeous pictures and your garden is looking lovely. Roll on the summer and lots more sunny days outside!
