Those of you who follow me on Instagram or YouTube, know that I love my garden! So seeing the New York High Line was a must for me! It's an abandoned railway track which runs through Chelsea and Greenwich village which has been totally transformed into a garden above the city. If you've ever visited New York, you'll know how massively concrete it is. Tree's and flowers seem to be reserved only for little park corners or in richer areas, such as greenwich village or down Park Avenue. So it's such a good idea to have this garden thriving in an otherwise pretty baron place.
I loved all the combinations of plants together and just how many butterflies and bees were enjoying them too! It felt so weird walking along in the middle of roadworks and beeping horns, but smelling sweet rudbeckia and hearing the grasses swishing about.
I would seriously recommend visiting this if you're ever in New York. It was great to see the city from a different point of view!
