We go pumpkin picking every year. It's become a bit of a tradition, a way of marking the October half term. When we used to go years ago, it was almost completely empty, even on a Saturday! Now, as you can see in the background of some of the pictures, it seems to be a massively popular event. But I'm not complaining. It's actually such a lovely fun experience, and so nice to hear all the other kids running about and having fun picking out the giant pumpkins.
We bought 3 and are planning on decorating the smaller ones and cooking with the bigger one. I have to admit, today was the first day it really felt like Autumn. Cold enough for jumpers and so much autumn colour everywhere.
More autumn posts to follow, I'm sure :)
